Working with Faith

Thoughtful planning for the life you’re building

Financial planning has always been part of the conversation at my family’s dinner table, often revolving around our real estate business, but also touching on so many other types of businesses and professionals.

Growing up around family business discussions means that I saw firsthand how financial decisions impacted successes, and failures. This created my early appreciation for the importance of planning ahead.

Insurance plays a unique role in that planning.

When I started working in the insurance industry in 2022, with some of the most successful insurance professionals in Canada,  I came to appreciate this aspect of financial planning even more.

For families with growing responsibilities, insurance can provide stability when income is suddenly lost. For those who have built significant wealth, it can help both grow that wealth, and ensure more of that wealth stays with the people it was intended for.

Understanding both sides of that equation is what makes insurance planning so meaningful. And, learning from, and working with, professionals across different industries creates conversations that often lead to new ideas and better ways to serve clients.

Outside of work, my interests include real estate, entrepreneurship as the owner of short-term rentals, travel, reading, and horseback riding.

Why this work matters

Insurance is often misunderstood. I know I truly didn’t understand its impact, and its potential, until I was immersed in the industry.

Many people encounter insurance through a quick quote, a rushed conversation, or a sales process that focuses more on products than planning. That experience can make insurance feel transactional, confusing, or unnecessary.

I take a different approach.

For my clients, I focus on understanding your situation, not just for today but for the life you’re building. From there, we work together to design the right solutions to support that bigger picture.

For some families, that means ensuring a mortgage can be paid off and children are cared for.
For professionals, it may mean protecting income if illness or disability interrupts a career.
For entrepreneurs, it may involve protecting both the business and the family behind it, and growing wealth at the same time.

The right plan creates both opportunity and peace of mind..

A Planning First Approach

Insurance decisions should never exist in isolation. Insurance strategies work best when we work together to consider them alongside the broader financial picture, including:

  • family responsibilities
  • income and career trajectory
  • mortgages and other debts
  • business ownership
  • long-term financial goals
  • estate and retirement planning

Clients benefit most when their advisors collaborate. When I work alongside accountants, mortgage brokers, lawyers, and other professionals, I help ensure protection decisions support the larger financial plan.

Planning works best when it follows a clear, thoughtful process.

1. Understanding your situation

A conversation about your family, career, business, financial responsibilities, and long-term goals.

Identifying the areas where financial protection may be most important.

Exploring insurance solutions that align with your broader financial plan.

Putting the right coverage in place and revisiting it over time as your life evolves.

Built on mentorship and collaboration

Every advisor begins somewhere. For me, the most important thing isn’t pretending to know everything. It’s being committed to continually learning.

Being part of a team with decades of combined experience allows you to benefit from both fresh perspective and deep industry expertise. The planning decisions we work together on are supported by experienced specialists while still maintaining a personal, relationship-driven approach.

Beyond Insurance

Insurance is one part of a much larger financial journey.

Over time, many clients’ needs evolve into broader conversations around wealth planning, tax efficiency, and long-term financial strategy. I have built, and continue to build, strong relationships with trusted professionals across these areas helps ensure clients receive thoughtful guidance as their financial lives grow more complex.

My goal is to build relationships that last — not transactions that end once a policy is placed.

Start the Conversation

Insurance solutions don’t have to be complicated, intimidating, or sales-driven.

Often, the most valuable step is simply having a conversation.
